Job Summary
Senior Business Intelligence Analyst focused on Economic & Industry Insights. Builds AI-powered analytical workflows and data pipelines to deliver actionable insights to Cox Automotive’s executive leadership, business units, customers, and the automotive industry. Combines hands-on data work with AI and automation to scale analytics, leveraging large datasets, Snowflake, and AI-assisted tools to identify trends and quantify relationships in economic and automotive variables. Translates findings into concise reports and visualizations; evaluates and implements generative AI tools to enhance productivity; identifies opportunities to automate manual workflows; collaborates with the Senior Director and may support the Chief Economist; occasional travel required; hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science OR higher with 4 years related experience; or Master’s degree with 2 years related experience; or Ph.D. with 1+ years related experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in Business Intelligence preferred
- High preference for Atlanta based candidates; onsite 6+ times a month at short notice
- Proficiency in SQL; experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake or AWS preferred)
- Experience with statistical or econometric software and/or visualization tools such as Python, R, Tableau, Power BI or Alteryx
- Experience connecting AI to live data environments (e.g., Snowflake) is a strong plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences
- Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically
- Authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future
