Job Summary
Collect, integrate, and validate internal and external data sources to ensure accuracy for network planning and regulatory compliance. Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and risks that support strategic decisions, then design reports, dashboards, and scorecards for stakeholders. Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate operational effectiveness and conduct ad-hoc analyses, forecasting, and scenario modeling for business initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define success measures, translate findings into actionable recommendations, and implement opportunities to automate reporting processes. Ensure all outputs align with organizational policies, data governance standards, and health, safety, and compliance requirements while maintaining documentation for consistency.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma in Mathematics, Statistics, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Transportation Planning, Data Science, or Computer Science
- Certification in data and reporting tools such as Power BI
- 3+ years' experience as a data analyst or business intelligence analyst
- Minimum of 3 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency with the following tools: R or Python, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SharePoint, Excel, and Google Analytics
- Proficiency in data analysis techniques to interpret large datasets, identify trends, and extract actionable insights
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail
