Job Summary
Programmer analyst to design, develop, test, and support EMR-related programming and configurations for the clinical enterprise; builds and maintains forms, reports, surveys, queries, macros, and other technical aspects of EMR implementations; analyzes data models, defines structures to improve performance, prepares documentation, and collaborates with clinical/operational stakeholders to meet business needs. Requires on-site presence in NYP facilities; Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/Business or equivalent and 1+ years’ related experience; familiarity with SQL, Intersystems Caché, and data-visualization tools (Tableau/Looker/PowerBI); HIPAA knowledge and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business or equivalent
- 1 or more years of related work experience
- Proficient in SQL and database modeling
- Experience with programming languages
- Experience with relational database and application development tools such as Intersystems Caché
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
