Job Summary
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using SQL, Alteryx, Python, and Snowflake to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets. Translate business requirements from Inventory, Yield, Operations, and Loyalty teams into automated ETL workflows that improve data quality and operational efficiency. Develop and enhance Tableau dashboards supporting forecasting, budgeting, and yield optimization across executive and operational stakeholders. Conduct routine validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy while collaborating with IT on schema alignment and data flow inconsistencies.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience developing ETL workflows in Alteryx, Python, and/or comparable tools
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Oracle, LMS, TSW, and enterprise data ecosystems
- Proficiency with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
- Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, modeling)
- Ability to manage large datasets and perform detailed reconciliation
- Ability to understand complex operational processes and translate them into technical requirements
- Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret trends and identify business impacts
- Understanding of sales forecasting, yield concepts, call center metrics, and operational KPIs
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable facilitating requirement sessions and documenting business rules
- Ability to present insights and findings clearly and professionally
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
- Demonstrated initiative, follow-through, and problem-solving ability
- Ability to independently analyze complex situations, identify patterns and trends, and evaluate multiple options for solving complex or ambiguous problems
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
