Job Summary
BI Engineer to join a PE-backed marketplace management firm in West Palm Beach. Role spans the full data lifecycle: data ingestion, pipeline orchestration, warehouse modeling in Redshift, and Power BI dashboard delivery, with roughly half time on stakeholder interaction to translate requirements into data products. High-ownership position on a small team; candidate should have completed full stack from raw source to finished dashboard and maintain high standards without close oversight. Responsibilities emphasize data ingestion, pipeline orchestration, Redshift warehouse modeling, and Power BI delivery, plus collaboration with internal business teams and some external clients. Nice-to-have: dbt, Airflow/Airbyte, Python, and Amazon marketplace/e-commerce data experience.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in BI, analytics engineering, or data engineering
- Strong SQL -- complex queries, schema design, performance tuning
- Power BI dashboard development and data model ownership
- Cloud data warehouse experience (Redshift or comparable)
- Dimensional modeling and database design
- Power Query for analyst-facing data prep
