Job Summary
Design, develop, and implement mission-critical enterprise Business Intelligence reports and dashboards by gathering requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications, and utilizing data warehouses or data marts. Transition developed solutions to the Operations & Support team while providing ongoing performance support for internal and external users. Deliver technical assistance, cross-training to team members, and establish technology best practices and repeatable processes. Complete all required training and maintain regular attendance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience developing and implementing enterprise-scale reports and dashboards
- Working with users in a requirements analysis role
- Extensive experience with data warehouse implementations
- Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling concepts (relational and dimensional)
- 3+ years of experience and proficiency in RDBMS technology
- Experience in Microsoft BI stack with Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS
- Experience with complex T-SQL
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing Methodology and best practices, Kimball preferred
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents
- The ability to effectively present information to IT management, technical groups, and/or project teams
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of items weighing up to 15 pounds
- Close visual acuity
Desired Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field is preferable
- Equivalent combination of experience, education and training
- Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)
- Experience and familiarity with the following: MS Office Products, MS CRM, MS Project, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, and MS Team Foundation Server (TFS)
