Job Summary
The BI Developer position is a full-time hybrid role focused on developing and maintaining ETL processes, optimizing SQL queries, and supporting reporting through Tableau and SSRS. Candidates should possess strong data engineering skills and experience with SQL, Python, and data visualization tools.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization
- Hands-on experience with SSIS for ETL development and data ingestion
- Strong foundation in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data modeling concepts
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and explain findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Team-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn and grow technically and professionally
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Tableau for reporting and visualization (preferred)
- Exposure to SSRS and SSAS (preferred)
- Exposure to Python for data analysis, automation, or ETL support (preferred)
- Familiarity with service-based industries and/or financial systems is a plus
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts including star and snowflake schema design is a plus
