Job Summary
Business Intelligence Developer role at a large bank requires building and supporting data-intensive BI solutions, including data warehouses/marts, dashboards, KPIs, and governance. Responsibilities include designing and implementing tools for analyzing large-scale datasets, creating and optimizing Power BI/SSRS visualizations, guiding data modeling and ETL/ELT processes, implementing security models and data quality controls, and providing user-experience input to business teams. The candidate will collaborate with data engineers, DBAs, and business partners, apply enterprise BI standards, perform performance tuning, mentor other BI developers, and stay current with technology trends.
Required Qualifications
- At least 7 years practical experience with business intelligence solution including building/supporting data-intensive systems, data warehouses and data marts with clear understanding of industry-standard concepts (star schema, snowflake, ER)
- 3+ years hands-on experience in Data Visualization or advanced analytics using Power BI
- Proficient in DAX and M queries
- Expertise in SQL, ELT/ETL, reporting and Visual Analytics tools including SSMS, SSRS, SSIS and Power BI, with proven implementation and adoption in a large-scale enterprise environments
- Solid T-SQL knowledge and SQL query development using MS SQL 2016 or later
- Expertise skills in data visualization, user interface design and the software development life cycle to develop data products and expertise in demonstrating the work to business groups.
- Proficiency in data analysis, data profiling, data mining, data extraction, and data enrichment
