Job Summary
Lonza is seeking a Business Intelligence/Data Analytics Specialist to join the Group Intelligence team in Hyderabad. You will support the technical delivery and day-to-day operation of Lonza’s BI platforms with a primary focus on Commercial, Sales, and Marketing use cases. Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, developing ETL processes, designing and delivering user-centered reports and dashboards, generating analytics to support commercial decision-making, strengthening data foundations, providing operational support for BI platforms, contributing to data governance, and identifying BI/automation opportunities, particularly within Marketing. The role spans the full BI lifecycle from data ingestion and modelling through to analytics, applications, and user-facing reporting, ensuring BI products are reliable, scalable, and aligned to business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data, IT, Digital, or related fields
- 0–4 years experience in Data Analysis, BI, or related areas
- Strong BI and data skills in database-driven environments
- Hands-on ETL experience with tools such as SnapLogic, SSIS, Azure Data Factory
- Experience designing reports/dashboards using Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent
- Awareness of data governance concepts (quality, lineage, controlled access)
- Advantageous: Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, Node.js), containerized environments (Docker), CI/CD practices
