Job Summary
Define business requirements and develop relevant KPIs aligned with objectives while applying best practices in data preparation to ensure quality and usability. Deliver high-quality code, select appropriate methods to build metrics based on context, and formulate clear, testable hypotheses prior to execution. Develop and execute data validation processes for KPIs to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and reliability, while providing technical support throughout the development cycle. Actively participate in knowledge sharing, advise on team process optimization, and ensure transparent information sharing with stakeholders. This new role within Intact's Operation Performance Analytics team supports operational excellence and service quality across underwriting teams. Candidates require a Bachelor's degree in a data-related field, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency in Python or SAS.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in data-related field (i.e., Business intelligence, Mathematics, Science, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.), or any combination of equivalent education and experience
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of programming languages (Python, SAS an asset)
- Understanding of underlying data pipelines and workflows
- Excellent time management and organization skills, managing competing priorities to meet deadlines
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for deliverables
- Bilingualism (French / English)
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
- Must be eligible to work in Canada from the anticipated start date and throughout their employment
