Job Summary
Business Intelligence Analyst responsible for designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end data solutions to enable informed decision-making across the organization. Develop Power BI dashboards and data models, optimize SQL queries, and translate complex data into actionable insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, KPIs, and reporting solutions; ensure data quality through validation and testing; support user adoption through documentation and training. In-office role based in Buffalo, NY, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Key focus areas include Power BI development, data modeling, DAX, SQL, data governance practices, and leveraging AI-enabled analytics tools to enhance reporting and insights.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of Business Intelligence experience or 5+ years in data analysis
- Advanced Power BI expertise (data modeling, DAX, reporting)
- Strong SQL skills, including database object development and data warehousing concepts
- Experience translating data findings into actionable business insights and recommendations
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders and communicating data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience in production or ticket-based environments with modern data platforms and analytics tools
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile best practices
