Job Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst role involves building, maintaining, and enhancing dashboards and visualizations in Qlik, developing repeatable data preparation workflows in Alteryx, and creating automated reporting solutions. The position demands strong analytical skills and foundational knowledge in data modeling, along with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders. Candidates are required to hold a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields, possess academic or internship experience in data analytics, and demonstrate familiarity with data visualization tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field
- Academic or internship experience with data analysis, business analytics, or BI coursework
- Exposure to at least one visualization tool (Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts (dimensions, facts, star schemas)
- Strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn new tools and methods to break down ambiguous problems
- Foundational understanding of data modeling, structured problem solving, and analytics concepts
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‐technical users.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree or coursework in Business Analytics and/or major minor in Operations Management
- Previous BI or analytics internship or entry-level work experience
- Exposure to Manufacturing Operations
- Understanding of best practices for data visualization, UX for dashboards, and data storytelling.
- Experience working with data preparation tools (e.g., Alteryx, KNIME, SSIS).
- Basic experience with SQL, Python, R, or another scripting/query language (coursework or project-based experience accepted)
