Job Summary
Elicit, analyze, and validate advanced business intelligence needs by interviewing stakeholders and compiling user requirements. Research key metrics and KPIs, lead storyboarding sessions to define solutions, and document business initiatives. Test deliverables for accuracy, resolve information requests, and maintain clear communication with business users while providing guidance to junior analysts. Take ownership of projects using Cognos or MicroStrategy tools, adhering to data security and privacy guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years using Cognos / MicroStrategy or other BI tools
- Expert understanding of Business Intelligence and data science
- Advanced SQL coding language expertise
- Knowledge of python coding language
- Expert understanding of Data Warehouse design and data models
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Highly self-motivated and directed
