Job Summary
The Occupational Health Nurse LPN will support occupational health services at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, conducting drug and paternity testing, hearing and vision screenings, spirometry, and Physical Capacity Program testing in clinic and at on-site health fairs. Responsibilities include preparing testing rooms, obtaining patient histories and vitals, coordinating administrative tasks (scheduling, check-in/out, medical records), administering tests, drawing blood, reporting diagnostics, maintaining HIPAA confidentiality, and managing related administrative duties. Requires LPN licensure in Kansas, BLS certification, ability to travel locally up to 60 miles, and strong communication and teamwork skills; proficient in Meditech and MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Current LPN licensure with the State of Kansas
- BLS certification
- 1-2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
- Current, unrestricted driver’s license and vehicle insurance
- Proficiency in vitals taking and administering drug and other testing (blood and urine)
- Knowledge of federal and state occupational health and safety regulations
