Business Generation Manager

Job Summary
Lead the strategic approach and execution of multi-million-dollar proposals, tenders, and bid responses across the ANZ business. Review procurement documentation, lead go/no-go discussions, and formulate clear plans for compelling offers. Provide bid and pursuit leadership, ensuring teams are resourced and aligned while complying with governance requirements. Facilitate discussions on differentiators and win themes, working with Board-level directors to deliver tender responses through direct writing or support. Coordinate interview preparation, presentation coaching, and rehearsal activities for shortlisted pursuits. Build work-winning capability through coaching, guidance, and continuous improvement initiatives while reporting on pipeline and bid conversion trends. Manage complex submission programs and maintain content libraries to strengthen submission quality and competitiveness.
Required Qualifications
- 4-8 years' experience in bid management, pursuits, tender management, proposal management or a related work-winning discipline
- Demonstrated experience managing competitive tender submissions, EOIs, RFPs and RFQs from commencement through to submission
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary contributors and managing complex submission programs
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, with a strong focus on quality, compliance and persuasive content development
- Strong analytical, organisational and project management capabilities
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and proposal development tools
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior technical and operational professionals
- Based in Australia with full working rights
- relevant degree (e.g., Engineering, Business, Marketing, English)
- APMP accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- APMP accreditation highly regarded
- Experience within engineering, infrastructure, construction, property, consulting or professional services environments highly desirable
