Job Summary
Develop rebate forecasts for RFPs, renewals, and strategic pricing events by analyzing utilization data, formulary strategies, and contract structures. Support underwriting efforts to project earned rebates and client guarantees while collaborating with Sales, Account Services, Underwriting, Trade, Legal, Finance, Proposals, and Clinical teams. Oversee finalization of rebate guarantees, including documentation and support for contractual execution, ensuring all models are audit-ready. Provide clear explanations of forecast drivers, risks, and variances to internal stakeholders and external clients. Perform advanced Excel-based modeling to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets. Ensure forecasts are accurate, transparent, and compliant. Contribute to team improvement by sharing knowledge and mentoring junior analysts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Analytics, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, PBM rebate forecasting, underwriting support, or financial modeling
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in PBM underwriting, rebate forecasting, or healthcare contracting
- Familiarity with formulary strategies, rebate guarantees, and specialty drug dynamics
- Prior experience supporting pricing events, RFPs, or client negotiations
- Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed environment
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Analytics, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred
