Job Summary
Mid-level Business Finance Professional 2 supporting NSA program budgeting: assists in executing the program's budget, creates/maintains spend plans and requisitions, enters documents in the NSA financial management system, prepares non-complex MIPRs and Economy Act Orders, processes MIPRs/EAOs, tracks requirements through approval/certification, pulls financial reports, and ensures compliance with BM&A policies. Requires active DoD/IC experience (8+ years) or 10+ years in DoD/IC/purchasing/finance and a Bachelor’s in business, plus strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Salary ranges: $93,000-$138,000 (and an alternate range noted: $83,400-$128,000). Location in Fort Meade, MD with on-site work; benefits include competitive packages and education scholarships.
Required Qualifications
- Eight (8) years of DoD/IC experience, or ten (10) years of DoD/IC/commercial experience in purchasing or finance and a Bachelor's degree with a business focus is required.
- Experience in the preparation of reports that reflect programs/project status in areas of cost, schedule and performance is required.
- Experience in budget planning, budget preparation and budget execution for acquisition programs is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to include creating formulas and pivot tables is required.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint to include importing Excel data into presentations required.
- In lieu of a degree, Program Management Professional (PMP) certification, Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), or DAWIA Level I in Business/Financial Management and three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of eleven (11) years of DoD/IC experience or thirteen (13) years of DoD/IC/commercial purchasing/finance experience may be substituted.
