Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive reviews of Profit and Loss, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements to evaluate market trends. Lead the end-to-end annual budgeting process, develop rolling monthly forecasts, and execute sensitivity analysis to identify financial risks and mitigation strategies. Perform rigorous "Actual vs. Budget" investigations to uncover operational drivers behind financial fluctuations. Forecast cash flow and working capital requirements to support ongoing operational growth. Synthesize intricate financial data into clear narratives for executive-level decision-making. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, 4+ years of experience, proficiency in Excel and SQL, and residency in Port Harcourt. Oil and gas industry knowledge and CFA/MBA are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or highly quantitative field
- Proficiency in Excel (macros, VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and SQL
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize intricate financial data into clear, high-level narratives for executive-level decision-making
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in Financial, business and data analysis
- Knowledge and understanding of the oil and gas industry
- MUST RESIDE IN PORT HARCOURT
Desired Qualifications
- CFA Certification and MBA will be an added advantage
