Job Summary
Lead sales, business development, and relationship growth efforts for the Business Experience Team by overseeing officers and specialists, coaching staff, and executing strategies to increase market penetration and deposit balances. Conduct regular performance evaluations, pipeline reviews, and training sessions focused on business banking, treasury management, and consultative selling while managing recruiting and retention. Drive departmental growth goals through prospecting, networking, and targeted market development, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and BSA/AML requirements. Monitor sales metrics, analyze market trends, and collaborate with branch and lending leadership to align objectives and strengthen referral partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 5-7 years of experience in business banking, commercial banking, treasury management, business development, or financial services sales
- Prior sales leadership, coaching, or team management experience preferred
- Demonstrated success in business relationship development, deposit acquisition, treasury management sales, and business banking growth
- Strong understanding of business banking products, treasury management services, merchant services, and business lending solutions
- Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop sales professionals
- Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and leadership skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic planning abilities
- Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications
