Job Summary
The Business Experience & Planning Advisor works within PNC's Technology organization to shape and deliver high-impact communications that support Technology Business Operations and transformation initiatives. Responsibilities include partnering with Technology leadership, Engagement teams, OCM, and Marcom to translate complex technical and operational topics into clear, actionable messaging for diverse audiences; developing content, simplifying messages, and managing an integrated editorial calendar; translating technical content into plain-language communications while preserving accuracy; collaborating cross-functionally to align messaging strategies and deliver consistent communications using approved tools and channels; and advising on best practices to support business objectives and employee experience. Qualifications emphasize strong experience in technology-driven environments, excellent writing and storytelling, editorial planning, stakeholder management, familiarity with change management principles, and experience supporting large-scale technology transformations. Education typically requires a university degree with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience; certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience in communications, change management, or business operations within a technology-driven environment
- ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging messaging for diverse audiences
- excellent written, editing, and storytelling skills
- experience managing editorial calendars and coordinating communications across multiple initiatives
- strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels of the organization
- familiarity with organizational change management principles and communication frameworks
- experience supporting large-scale technology transformations or digital initiatives
- background working with Marketing Communications or internal communications teams
- knowledge of enterprise communication tools and channels
