Business & Entrepreneurship Instructor - Performance High School East

Performance High School East seeks a Business & Entrepreneurship Instructor to deliver high-quality, standards-aligned instruction in business principles, financial literacy, and organizational management to high school students across grades 9-12. The role involves implementing the approved curriculum per Ohio standards, developing engaging lessons with diverse instructional strategies, assessing student progress using formative and summative data, and maintaining accurate records. The instructor will foster partnerships with local businesses to coordinate internships or guest speaking engagements, prepare students for industry-recognized certifications (e.g., MOS, QuickBooks, Google Ads, RISE Up), support enrollment efforts as needed, ensure a safe and positive classroom environment aligned with PBIS, and collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary units and improve instructional effectiveness. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, a valid Ohio teaching license, and expertise in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related areas. Preferred qualifications include a Business CTE certification and real-world business experience, with a focus on equity, inclusion, and high expectations for student achievement.
