Job Summary
Instruct high school students in Business & Entrepreneurship using the approved curriculum aligned with Ohio standards. Deliver high-quality lessons in business principles, financial literacy, and organizational management; prepare students for industry-recognized certifications such as MOS, QuickBooks, Google Ads, and Rise Up; foster partnerships with local businesses for internships or guest speaking engagements; maintain a positive classroom environment and adhere to PBIS policies while supporting equity and inclusion. Collaborate with school leadership to monitor student progress, utilize data to inform instruction, and support enrollment and retention efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field from an accredited institution
- Valid Ohio teaching license (Integrated Business or similar)
- Strong background and demonstrated proficiency in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field
- Expertise in productivity software, specifically Microsoft Excel and other financial management tools
- Proven success in working with K-8 grade students in a classroom setting, particularly in diverse and inclusive environments
- Commitment to using Performance Academies’ instructional resources exclusively in curriculum delivery
