Job Summary
Clever Devices is seeking a Business Enablement Software Engineer to contribute to building and maintaining enterprise software using a broad tech stack (Python, C#, ASP.NET, NET Core, WCF, MVC, MVVM, WPF, RESTful Web Services, Web API, SQL Server, NoSQL, React, Docker). Key responsibilities include writing maintainable, reusable code; maintaining source control workflows and continuous builds; practicing Test Driven Development and unit testing; debugging and resolving defects; collaborating across departments to support business processes; participating in code reviews; mentoring teammates; and driving process improvements. Required qualifications include a Computer Science or Engineering degree or diploma and at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong debugging skills, experience with large-scale/high-availability applications, and proficiency with Git, JIRA, and Agile environments. Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required
- Minimum 2 years of demonstrated prior work experience performing primary responsibilities
- Experience with advanced debugging techniques (breakpoints, watches, attaching to remote processes, dump files)
- Experience developing large-scale, high-availability applications and systems
- Proficiency with Python, C#, ASP.NET, NET Core, WCF, MVC, MVVM, WPF, RESTful Web Services, Web API
- Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL
- Knowledge of React or modern web frameworks
- Experience with SQL development (queries, stored procedures) and database performance tuning
- Experience with Git for source control
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to learn new technologies and contribute to process improvements
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
