Job Summary
Instructs high school students in Business Education using current strategies and theories to plan and implement lessons; coordinates health informatics curriculum with career-related instruction; administers developmental and industry-recognition assessments to gauge certification readiness and student growth; engages CTSO/FBLA activities, promotes career and college readiness, maintains equipment and supplies, and fosters external partnerships with industry and post-secondary entities; maintains ongoing professional development and collaborates with stakeholders to align curriculum with IGP goals and opportunities for continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required
- GaPSC Certification in the content area of specialization or eligible
- Minimum of two (2) years of occupational work experience required
- Minimum of one (1) year teaching experience preferred
- Excellent classroom management required
- Travel for off-site training and student exposure opportunities
