Job Summary
Implementational Planning Business Director leads integrated media planning and transformation across multiple client accounts, driving the evolution of the Implementational Planning offering and integrating brand-to-performance strategies across digital, traditional, audio, VOD, and AV. The role involves line management of Account Directors, coaching and development, driving commercial plans and soft P&L, overseeing rigorous media testing, using PCA insights, and engaging senior stakeholders within the WPP Open ecosystem. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, and proficiency with WPP Open Intelligence and OASIS principles are required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven planning and buying experience across diverse media channels
- Leadership and team development experience (managing Account Directors)
- Experience with integrated media strategies across digital, traditional, audio, VOD, and AV
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interrogate data (e.g., Google Analytics, ad servers, data visualization)
- Experience with media testing frameworks and leveraging data for insights
- Understanding of P&L management in multi-channel media
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and leading strategic initiatives
- Familiarity with WPP Open Intelligence and the OASIS framework
