Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day operations and customer engagement within Parts and Service departments, shadowing sales experts to master enterprise software and customer management. Execute foundational customer-facing roles including rental sales, parts, service, lead generation, and event planning while improving data integrity across divisions. Identify potential customers, generate cross-departmental leads, and coordinate product demos to increase market penetration. Progress through a three-phase curriculum over 1.25 to 2.5 years, culminating in a permanent placement or promotion to Business Development Representative. Work Monday through Friday with up to 25% travel, utilizing CRM tools and TMI (SmartSpec) to own the full sales cycle for new and used trucks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Associate's degree in business, marketing, transportation, engineering, or a related field
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing, over the phone, and in person
- Comfortable soliciting new business and meeting new people
- Disciplined, with good organizational and time management skills
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable and reliable attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor or Associate's degree preferred in business, marketing, transportation, engineering, or a related field
- Intermediate experience with CRM systems and Google Drive
- Commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Ability and willingness to obtain a CDL
