Business Development Support Specialist

Job Summary
Based at HID Kulai production site in Malaysia, you’ll support HID’s Lux Group Business Development organization by providing operational, commercial, and technical support to the BD Director, coordinating prelaminates and cost data, and ensuring accurate documentation and communication across Malaysia, Granges, and Lanškroun. You’ll manage inquiries, quotations, and customer documentation; track project status and milestones; assist with datasheets, product specifications, and cost-impacts for project requests; drive cost-down initiatives and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Product Management, and Finance to support customer quotations and development activities. The role emphasizes cross-functional coordination, cost governance, and market expansion within APAC, with occasional travel up to 10–20% and readiness to work with global teams.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Science, Electronics, or related field (equivalent experience accepted)
- Experience in customer support, technical sales, project coordination, or product administration
- Familiarity with smart card components, RFID modules, prelaminates, or production processes is an advantage
- Ability to communicate clearly in English, verbally and in writing
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Familiar with ERP systems and CRM tools
