Job Summary

Responsible for originating and developing non-life insurance business with Korean clients across Europe. This role involves business development activities including market research, proposal development, pitching, and negotiation. The specialist will structure and place multinational insurance programs with insurers and coordinate cross-functional delivery with various teams. Key qualifications include 3–5 years of client-facing experience in non-life insurance, fluency in Korean and English, and strong negotiation skills. Candidates should possess an understanding of Korean corporate culture and readiness for relocation and frequent travel.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ professional experience in non-life (property & casualty) insurance, broking or related risk management roles
  • Solid understanding of international/multinational insurance programs
  • Fluency in Korean and English (verbal and written)
  • Familiarity with Korean corporate culture, business customs and decision-making processes
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and ability to present solutions to senior stakeholders
  • Willingness to relocate to Europe and travel frequently across the region

Desired Qualifications

  • Existing network of contacts in Korean corporates, brokers or insurers
  • Experience working in a global broking/insurance environment
  • Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional regulatory issues
  • Professional qualifications (e.g., ACII, CPCU, CIP or equivalent)
