Develop new business by identifying prospective customers and generating leads; secure appointments and move prospects through the sales cycle. Create and distribute marketing content to introduce products, capabilities, and services; build and maintain a robust sales pipeline; collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate initial contacts and meetings; overcome objections to set appointments; prepare customer status reports for senior leadership; travel ~10%; starting pay $57,000 with potential annual incentive bonus. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and 0-1 year in sales or business development. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; strong communication and persuasive skills; self-starter with the ability to manage own schedule.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Supply Chain, Industrial Distribution, and Business-related field, or equivalent experience
- Internship or sales experience, a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-1 year of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation
