Job Summary
Develop and execute business development strategies to increase new members, retention, and total deposit/loan balances. Cultivate relationships with partners, Select Employer Groups, and community stakeholders to promote the credit union and orchestrate events like workshops and orientation presentations. Prospect for new business partner relationships, coordinate on-site account openings, and represent GLCU as a financial industry expert at civic functions. Respond to inquiries via phone, online, or in-person, maintain member follow-up after visits, and collaborate with retail, lending, and contact center teams to assist members. Inform the Chief Strategy Officer of problematic situations and resolve issues promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of similar or related experience
- A 2-year college degree, or completion of a specialized study at school, or extensive in-in-house training
- Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy
- Analytical ability, judgement, and ingenuity
- Moderate amount of discretion
- Ability to handle somewhat complex problems involving analysis and weighing outcomes
