Job Summary
The Business Development Specialist will focus on growing relationships with key decision makers in the Seattle market by identifying customer needs and delivering tailored fluid power solutions. Responsibilities include developing long-term relationships, pursuing new business opportunities, conducting customer visits, preparing and delivering proposals and presentations, managing customer relationships through a CRM platform, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales and margin growth. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in industrial sales, and a strong consultative selling background.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in industrial sales, preferably hydraulics and pneumatics
- Strong background in solution-based or consultative selling
- Experience developing sales proposals, presentations, and account plans
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a customer-facing sales environment
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to supporting team success
Desired Qualifications
- Fluid Power certification
- Familiarity with industrial automation, mechanical systems, electrical controls, or PLCs
