Job Summary

Business Development Specialist role focused on driving revenue growth in the EMEA region through lead generation, customer engagement, and proposal development. Core duties include qualifying new business opportunities, maintaining CRM records, coordinating RFIs/Qs/quotations, building competitive offers with internal teams, supporting pricing and scope definition, acting as a commercial interface during early-stage opportunities, and contributing to market insights and events. Requires strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and a commercial mindset, with fluency in English and German (French beneficial) and experience in regulated industries (pharma/biotech/clinical services) preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Life Sciences, or related field)
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in business development, sales support, lead generation, or B2B commercial roles of advantage
  • Experience in regulated industries (pharmaceutical, biotech, clinical services) is an advantage
  • Multiple languages preferred, English and German fluently, French would be beneficial
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Commercial mindset with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce) preferred
  • Ability to use AI tools
