Job Summary
Prioritize and manage multiple business and client development projects, driving initiatives from planning through execution while ensuring deliverables remain on schedule and within scope. Draft and coordinate pitches, RFP responses, presentations, and ad hoc requests, collaborating with cross-functional teams to format, proofread, and compile client-facing materials to firm standards. Partner with Marketing and Events teams to develop event content, identify business generation opportunities, and coordinate post-event follow-up. Manage and track business development initiatives, leveraging firm tools to conduct research, create tracking reports, and maintain databases for representative matters and experience information. Assist with budget development and maintenance. This hybrid role requires a three days per week in-office presence in the New York office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in business development, client development, consulting, strategy development, or a directly related field
- Experience managing mid- to large-scale projects while coordinating multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Proven success developing and implementing strategic business development plans and initiatives
- Experience working effectively in a highly matrixed environment across multiple business units and functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong relationship-building, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with lawyers, firm leadership, and colleagues at all levels
- Results-oriented mindset
