Job Summary

Build and maintain relationships with behavioral health providers, hospitals, discharge planners, social workers, and community organizations to generate qualified referrals and strengthen source engagement. Execute territory-based outreach strategies across the Greater Baltimore/Central Maryland service area, conducting in-person visits, virtual meetings, and follow-up communications while managing accounts in HubSpot CRM. Re-engage inactive partners and identify new partnership opportunities while collaborating with Admissions, Program, and Operations teams to improve referral flow and service access. Ensure all activities comply with HIPAA, Medicaid requirements, and ethical referral practices. Requires a valid Maryland driver's license, reliable transportation, and CRM proficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Two (2) or more years of experience in healthcare business development, behavioral health outreach, provider relations, referral development, account management, or related relationship-based roles
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional partnerships
  • CRM experience required
  • Valid Maryland driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Ability to represent Advocate professionally, ethically, and consistently in the community

Desired Qualifications

  • HubSpot preferred
  • Experience in behavioral health, mental health, PRP services, SUD programs, outpatient behavioral health, hospital discharge planning, Maryland Medicaid, or human services
  • Knowledge of Maryland behavioral health systems and referral pathways
  • Experience working with adults living with serious mental illness
  • Experience with CARF-accredited or regulated healthcare organizations
  • Experience delivering presentations and educational outreach to healthcare providers and community partners
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business, marketing, communications, healthcare administration, psychology, social work, human services, or a related field
  • Directly relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
