Job Summary
Senior Business Development Manager responsible for originating, developing, and maturing a pipeline of renewable energy opportunities in Malaysia (solar, storage, hybrid), including greenfield projects, tenders, partnerships, and acquisitions. Led by cross-functional collaboration with development, finance, legal, and technical teams to advance projects through internal governance and stages up to investment approvals, with emphasis on commercial structuring, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement to support growth strategy in Malaysia.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or related discipline
- 8 to 12 years of experience in business development, project development, commercial or related roles (preferably in renewables, power, infrastructure or energy)
- Proven experience in deal origination and stakeholder management
- Fluent in English; Malay or other regional languages a plus
