Job Summary

Senior-level Business Development role focused on late-phase clinical trials and related ancillary services for a US West Coast-centric market. Responsible for prospecting, generating, and developing new leads and business opportunities for Clinical Conduct, Data Management, Medical Writing, Biostatistics, Pharmacovigilance, and related services; build relationships with key decision-makers, drive sales to closure in collaboration with Operations, and meet or exceed annual proposal and sales targets. Requires frequent travel up to 50%. 100% home-office based in the United States with emphasis on the Western US region. Responsibilities include maintaining CRM records, managing proposals and contract workflows, and leveraging an established West Coast book of business to grow the organization’s late-phase capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant scientific discipline or business
  • Deep CRO experience including prospecting for and closing full-service late-phase clinical trial business across clinical conduct, data management, medical writing, biostatistics, pharmacovigilance, and related services
  • An established West Coast book of business strongly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of the drug development/clinical trial industry with key contacts and relationships
