Job Summary
Business Development (Sales) Executive at Hearst Media Production Group focusing on developing national, content-driven brand-funded sponsorships and partnerships, pitching to executives at Fortune 500 companies, media agencies, advertisers, and non-profits; responsible for closing long-term sponsorship agreements and transitioning closed deals to activation across YouTube, linear, streaming, and other digital channels; requires strong relationship-building, negotiation, and strategic concept presentation skills, with travel for client pitches and meetings; role reports to National Sales Manager and is in-office four days a week in Glendale, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant business development and sales experience
- Digital agency, media company or branded content studio experience
- Familiarity with digital video landscape and analytics across linear TV, streaming, and social media platforms
- Strong outbound prospecting, brand research, and cold outreach skills
- Experience presenting to C-level executives
- Experience structuring and negotiating branded content contracts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional environment
- Willingness to travel for client pitches and meetings
- Proficient in Salesforce
- Willingness to learn new tools (e.g., Winmo, Monday.com)
