Job Summary
Business Development Reps promote and sell SERVPRO’s services to commercial prospects across various building types, cultivating relationships with property owners, property managers, and insurance adjusters; analyze the market, identify viable target clients, and convert leads into sales. Reps may have the opportunity to sell a national account agreement to customers outside the Denver metro area, and report to the Director of Business Development. Responsibilities include daily marketing activities, maintaining marketing materials, coordinating and promoting events, networking through associations and trade shows, responding to loss opportunities, ensuring customer needs and decision-makers are identified, completing Emergency Ready Profiles and Priority Service Agreements, and meeting/exceeding sales goals. Requirements include extensive sales experience in long sales cycles, ability to manage multiple projects, CRM proficiency, strong communication skills, willingness to travel out of state for large storm events, and passing a background check. Required Qualifications
- Extensive selling experience and proven track record of accomplishing sales goals in a long sales cycle environment
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Local knowledge and contacts in one or more market segments is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and able to learn proprietary software applications including CRM
- Highly competitive, positive, eager to improve, and results driven
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel out of state for large storm events
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
