Business Development Representative - Sales

Job Summary
Primarily responsible for lead generation activities in support of the dealership’s sales and service goals. Responsibilities include: answering all incoming phone calls per a pre-set script and scheduling sales or service appointments; logging customer comments into the Dealership Management System; scheduling follow-up contacts if no appointment is made; posting and updating appointment information; rescheduling no-shows; coordinating with sales/service departments to confirm outcomes; maintaining the appointment board; contacting current customers about marketing incentives; responding to internet inquiries via email/phone to schedule appointments; notifying departments about appointments; addressing customer concerns with the correct department; maintaining CSI above company standards; adhering to safety rules; participating in required training; upholding the company’s core values; maintaining accurate timekeeping; following policies; and performing other duties as assigned. The role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, proficiency with DMS and Microsoft Office, and effective communication with customers and dealership personnel.
Required Qualifications

- Previous customer service and/or business development experience.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Automobile Salesperson License (if applicable)
