Job Summary
Contact new and existing customers to discuss sales promotions, respond to inbound calls and inquiries, and create excitement to set appointments. Follow BDC scripts and guidelines while ensuring all calls are answered promptly and professionally. Acquire complete product knowledge for dealership makes and models, develop proficiency with BDC CRM software, and maintain accurate system entries. Maintain knowledge of coupons, direct mail, advertising, and inventory schedules, while adhering to dealership policies and procedures. Meet individual goals for appointments, show-ups, and outbound calls, and serve as the communication link between clients and the sales department. Work 40 hours per week including weekends and evenings.
Required Qualifications
- Professional and has the ability to make a compelling introduction
- Multi-tasker and excellent customer service skills
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals
- Proficient with computers, emails, smart phones and the web
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Willing to engage in ongoing training
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Previous experience and success in customer service, sales, call center, telemarketing or automotive BDC positions
- Skilled at building positive relationships over the phone or via email
- Professional personal appearance
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Must possess strong organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to multi task
- Demonstrates the ability to interact effectively with dealer personnel at all levels
- Maintains strict confidentiality of customer information, as well as dealership processes, and marketing strategies
- Willing to work 40 hours per week including some weekend and evening shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Willing to participate in skills and product training
- College level achievement preferred
