Job Summary
Business Development Representative responsible for high-volume outbound prospecting (80–150+ activities/day) using cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and SMS; build and manage targeted prospect lists with Apollo and Clay; run multi-touch outbound sequences in Instantly; write and send high-converting outbound messages; initiate conversations, communicate Bluelight's value proposition early, and qualify prospects (budget, authority, need, timeline) to book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives. Maintain accurate activity logs in HubSpot, continuously refine messaging, and work toward hitting daily KPIs including conversations, meetings booked, and pipeline contribution. Ideal candidate has proven B2B/inside sales experience in tech/software, strong English communication, CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce), and ability to work independently within a remote environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales or inside sales roles, preferably within technology or software industries
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers confidently
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms
- Experience in telemarketing or outbound calling campaigns is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with a customer service-oriented approach
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
