Job Summary
Conduct ~150+ outbound cold calls daily alongside email and LinkedIn outreach to prospects in the mining and industrial sectors. Qualify inbound and outbound leads against the ideal customer profile, uncovering pain points and budget fit before booking meetings for the sales team. Maintain accurate CRM records for every call, note, and next step, while partnering with sales to refine messaging and objection handling based on field feedback. Progress from shadowing demos to running full discovery calls and eventually demos as product fluency grows. This high-volume, high-energy role offers a clear path toward a Junior Sales or Account Executive position within a small, senior team that ships daily to production mines.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in outbound sales, business development, SDR/BDR, telesales, or a comparable high-volume, customer-facing role
- Proven ability to sustain high call volume (150+ calls/day) with discipline and resilience
- Track record of building personalized, researched outreach (not just working from a script) that resonates with prospects
- Strong verbal communication skills; confident and comfortable handling objections and rejection
- Coachable and process-driven; eager to follow (and help improve) a repeatable outbound playbook
- Organized, with strong CRM hygiene and pipeline-tracking habits
Desired Qualifications
- Experience selling into industrial, mining, manufacturing, or other traditional “boots on the ground” industries
- Familiarity with outbound tooling (Salesloft, Outreach, Apollo, ZoomInfo, or similar) and a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Some quota-carrying or closing experience, even if limited
- Interest in AI, industrial technology, or mining/heavy industry
