Job Summary
Prospect and develop new industrial and manufacturing accounts while conducting on-site material assessments to design recycling and sourcing solutions. Prepare proposals, RFPs, and contracts, then serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to long-term retention. Maintain accurate CRM records, provide forecasts, and track sales activity while collaborating with Leadership, Operations, Customer Service, and Accounting to ensure program success. Identify equipment needs and recommend sales or lease options to improve customer efficiency, staying current on industry trends and changes. Full-time, exempt role with regional travel required in Wisconsin and Northern IL.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5–7 years of demonstrated success in mid‐ to high‐level B2B outside sales experience
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Comfort working in both office and industrial settings
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite and CRM tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
- Track record of taking initiative and driving results

- Experience within the waste & recycling industry
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or service‐based environments
- Exceptional consultative selling, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Business acumen and strong problem‐solving skills
- Ability to interpret material and commodity data
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and interpersonal as well as superior relationship‐building skills
- Ability to manage complex sales solutions based on analysis of client needs with C‐suite decision makers
- Experience engaging frontline and operational employees for a multi‐level sales engagement approach
- Ability to design recycling solutions that support both customer needs and facility throughput goals
- Understanding of manufacturing operations, material flows, and commodity markets
- Ability to identify, develop, and secure new industrial and manufacturing accounts
- Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and site assessments to proposal development, contract negotiation, onboarding, and long‐term account retention
- Ability to serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams
- Ability to maintain accurate CRM records, provide forecasts, track, and plan sales activity
- Ability to collaborate with Leadership, Operations, Customer Service and Accounting teams
- Ability to identify equipment needs and recommend sales or lease options to improve customer efficiency
- Ability to stay on top of industry trends and changes
