Job Summary
Senior Business Development Representative for payment solutions with a focus on outbound prospecting, lead generation, and enterprise relationship building in FinTech/payments. Responsibilities include researching target accounts and decision-makers, qualifying leads, managing a healthy sales pipeline, coordinating discovery meetings, supporting proposals and negotiations, onboarding activities, maintaining CRM records, and representing the company at international fintech conferences and events. Requires experience in FinTech, Payments, PSPs, merchant services, or related B2B solutions, strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills, English proficiency, and comfort working in a structured, KPI-driven environment. Travel internationally ~5–6 times per year; willing to work onsite in Stellenbosch, SA, Lisbon, PT, Cairo, EG, or Buenos Aires, AR, with a preference for candidates with experience selling payment solutions and banking/financial software. Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree highly advantageous. Benefits include fully remote role with flexible hours and global client exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years of B2B sales, business development, SDR, BDR, or account development experience
- Experience within FinTech, Payments, Financial Services, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), Payment Gateways, Merchant Services, Banking Technology, Financial Software, or SaaS companies with strong financial exposure
- Strong outbound prospecting, lead generation, lead qualification, and pipeline management
- Experience conducting discovery calls and engaging decision-makers, merchants, and enterprise stakeholders
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales tools, preferably Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, and Google Workspace
- Must be willing and able to work onsite in the assigned hiring location (Lisbon, Portugal; Stellenbosch, South Africa; Cairo, Egypt; Buenos Aires, Argentina)
- Must be willing and able to travel internationally for conferences, trade shows, and industry events approximately 5–6 times per year
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree highly advantageous
