Job Summary
Entry-level Business Development Representative at a venture-backed startup, responsible for generating new leads through cold calls (approximately 65 per day), scheduling a minimum of 20 meetings per month, presenting and promoting the company's software solutions in a marketplace of activities, building long-term customer relationships, collaborating with the sales team to increase engagement and conversion rates, maintaining product/market knowledge, efficiently managing time to grow pipeline and revenue, accurately recording customer information in the CRM, and participating in team meetings and sales training to align with goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and disciplined with high energy and drive
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
