Job Summary
Business Development Representative responsible for new client acquisition via networking, cold calling, and research; build and maintain a strong sales pipeline; develop and execute sales strategies to generate leads and convert prospects; present and demonstrate products; customize presentations; manage client relationships and identify upsell opportunities; conduct market research and provide feedback to product team; collaborate with marketing, product, and customer support; track activities in CRM and provide progress reports; travel and face-to-face client engagement often required; salary is offered with commission where applicable; benefits include health, dental, vision, disability, life, 401K, and PTO; typical schedule is Mon-Fri with occasional Saturdays and travel.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or related field, preferably in a B2B environment
- Strong understanding of sales strategies and techniques
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with diverse clients
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Comfortable with travel and engaging with clients face-to-face
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
