Job Summary
Entry-level Business Development Representative to build and qualify the sales pipeline for Informa Markets' events. You’ll be the first point of contact for prospective clients, with growth opportunities, mentorship, and support to drive revenue. Responsibilities include lead generation and qualification through cold calls and email campaigns, qualifying inbound leads, researching opportunities, scheduling discovery meetings, and maintaining data in Salesforce. You’ll manage client/prospect information, build targeted prospect lists, track lead performance, and assist with payments and customer inquiries. You’ll support pipeline development and nurturing by engaging early-stage prospects, transitioning leads to sales reps, and coordinating with marketing to improve campaigns. Performance expectations include daily call and email targets, weekly lead-generation quotas, and monthly/quarterly sales targets. Required/desired skills include Salesforce familiarity, strong verbal and written communication, time management, autonomy, adaptability, collaboration, and a results-driven mindset. The role supports in-person collaboration three days a week or more, with the option to work from home or remotely when not in the office, and offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities."
