Job Summary
The Business Development Representative will drive solution sales for TeamFeePay across Middlesex & Bedfordshire, promoting the platform to grassroots clubs. Responsibilities include pre-qualification of leads, pipeline management and timely follow-up, face-to-face engagement with clubs, plan and attend events/tournaments, and collaborating with onboarding to ensure club success. The role requires communicating value propositions, demonstrating the system, and achieving business targets/KPIs. Key skills include CRM proficiency (Salesforce), strong interpersonal and communication abilities, strategic, analytical, and problem-solving mindset, resilience, time management, and team collaboration. Must have 3+ years in Sales/BD, extensive connections within grassroots football, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment. The role is fully remote with travel to clubs as appropriate and a focus on expanding TeamFeePay’s footprint in the specified region.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years’ experience in a Sales or Business Development role
- Connections within grassroots football within your region
- Proficient in CRM software
- Proven experience of a similar role, achieving sales targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High levels of resilience and patience
- Process-driven with a strategic mindset
- Able to work within a fast-paced, engaging environment
- Ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities arising within the customer base
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- IT and computer literate – good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent)
