Job Summary
The Business Development Representative (BDR) drives membership growth and community partnerships for the ILWU Credit Union by developing relationships with ILWU officials, members, and affiliated organizations. Responsibilities include on-site outreach, in-person visits and presentations, cross-selling Credit Union products, and managing a portfolio of members to increase deposits, loans, and product utilization. The role involves field deployments, promotions, financial literacy sessions, and coordination of branch events and community initiatives. Based at the ILWU Credit Union Long Beach headquarters, the position conducts activities at ILWU locals in Southern California with a schedule driven by meetings and events; when not in the field, work is performed from the Long Beach office or an approved remote location. The compensation includes a base salary range of $70,500 – $90,000 annually plus monthly commission/incentive opportunities, with comprehensive benefits including employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, and retirement plans (401(k) and Roth 401(k)) with employer matching and profit-sharing.
