Job Summary
Ground-floor Business Development Representative role on our Startup Insurance team in Austin, TX. You’ll be one of the first BDRs, selling directly to startup founders and operators, helping to build outbound motion from scratch with support from sales leadership. Responsibilities include making outbound calls to startup founders and decision-makers, booking qualified meetings and joining demos with Account Executives, managing pipeline in CRM, refining outreach messaging, building product knowledge quickly to speak credibly with founders, and collaborating with sales leadership to sharpen targeting and messaging. Ideal candidates are motivated, quick learners with comfortable, high-volume outreach, confident communicating with executives, self-directed, and energized by building something new. No insurance background required—we’ll train you on the industry. Compensation includes base plus ramp and OTE with strong growth potential.
